MY STORY
I was born in the mountains of Colorado in small but well build cabin, not far from a fishing stream. I was the middle child of five. My mother worked at home to raise us and provide all the normal things that children need.
My father was a dreamer that worked job to job. He was a very intelligent man but not educated in the traditional sense. He loved to pan for gold. He would state that he could always make a living from the earth.
He would often do well and find a little gold. He would complain that he did not have the right tools to find the "mother load".
After graduation from high school,I worked odd jobs for a few years mostly construction and logging.
At about 21 years old I was hired on to the fire department. It was a dream come true. I was working at a job I loved and earning a good salary with benefits. The fire service was very rewarding work. Each day on shift brought new challenges,joy and all to often heartache,from experiencing the tragedies in other peoples lives.
Early in my carrer every so often a firefighter that I worked with would just up and retire because he had enough. I would not understand this. How could someone leave the best job in the word? I was to young and inexperinced to get it.
Until one cold miserable January morning I woke up at the fire station after a long night on shift and said enough. I can't do this any more. My body and mind were shot.
But I can't retire I have a daughter in college that needs my support. I have the normal everyday bills mortgage,car payment. So I went and got help, counseling time off. After I went back nothing had really changed for me. Saddly I had to realize that my time had come to leave after 25 years.
Now What?
After having a job that I loved and loved to get up in the morning and go to, I just could not bring myself to do something that I would hate. I know that I wanted to do something on my own to make a living. If you wondering about my retirement money well I do have some. But if I use it Uncle Sam will help himself to 40 to 50% of it until I'm 65. I'm only 47. No way was I going use it it would not last but for a couple of years. So I started to do some research on the internet. Wow I found a ton of stuff. Stuff to sell,"make money online programs". You name it it is there. I was intrigued by all of the "get rich" programs. I was ready to go sign up spend some or a lot of money and watch the cash roll in. And you know what? I started to make a little money "very little". Then reality started to set in. I was not getting rich I was not even replacing my income from the fire department. I thought if a little is good more has to be better right?
Wrong! I went full steam a head. Man did I get ripped off, ripped on, ripped over and of course ripped to shreds.
OUCH!
The worst part is that it was my fault. I hate to be wrong.
OK so now what in the heck am I going to do?
Do I start all over or do I get use to saying"Would you like to super size that?"
As you can tell I started from square one. But how do I do It right this time? I'm not much of a computer guy but I'm smart. What in my past can help me? As I have told you I was a fireman for 25 years, could that help?
Yes it did. We would train for hours and hours each month to fight fire and do EMS work. So I applied that to my thinking on how to make money online.
How does that apply you ask?
Well I'll tell you. We were trained to recognize danger and hazards in an unsafe environment. So I applied that to the internet money making systems. I other words I did my homework!
